Learn Psalm 119:1-8 in Hebrew! This poster features the biblical Hebrew text of Psalm 119:1-8, with each Hebrew word broken into syllables and transliterated using the English alphabet. Therefore, with minimal effort, you will be able to recite these verses in Hebrew and gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God.
Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm in the Bible. It is divided into sections, one for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In each section, there are eight verses, each verse starts with that same Hebrew letter. This poster features the letter “Alef” (AH/leh-f) and covers verses 1-8.
My hope is to eventually make the entire Psalm 119 available in the same way. If you would like to support this project, feel free to contribute here, and note your payment with “Psalm 119”.
For every $40 you contribute, I will be able to make a poster for the next eight verses,
and you will get the new PDF download for free.
Thank you in advance for you contribution & support!
How to use?
Hebrew is read from RIGHT-to-left, so you will start from the right and work your way towards the left.
Under each Hebrew word, you will find its transliteration & translation in English. The forward-slash (“/”) separates between syllables and the capitals mark where the accent should be. Pronounce each syllable on its own (left-to-right), then combine the syllables to pronounce the word as a whole. To make sure you are pronouncing correctly, get my Hebrew Pronunciation Chart or watch the free video below…
