Additional Info

This is the final Psalm in the Book of Psalms and it is no wonder that it is the climactic conclusion to the preceding four praise Psalms (146–149) where everyone and everything are to praise our God everywhere. In this Psalm, we learn how, where and when to praise God. It is a commandment which is repeated 13 times in this one Psalm!

Praising God is not an option, but it is our obligation, our delight and our duty. God is sure worthy of our praise, and we have been created to praise Him. So, HalleluYAH! = "You all, praise YAH!"

“You all, praise God in his sanctuary.
You all, praise Him in the expense of His might.
Praise Him for His acts of power,
praise Him by the abundance of His magnitude.
You all, praise Him with the blast of the Shofar,
praise Him with harp and with lyre.
Praise Him with tambourine and with dance.
You all, praise Him with stringed instruments and with pipe.
Praise Him with sounding cymbals.
You all, praise Him with resounding cymbals.
Everything that has breath will praise the LORD. You all, praise the LORD!"

- Psalm 150, TLV, ESV

How to use?

Hebrew is read from RIGHT-to-left, so you will start from the right and work your way towards the left.
Under each Hebrew word, you will find its transliteration & translation in English. The forward-slash (“/”) separates between syllables and the capitals mark where the accent should be. Pronounce each syllable on its own (left-to-right), then combine the syllables to pronounce the word as a whole. To make sure you are pronouncing correctly, get my Hebrew Pronunciation Chart.
